These pictures are from Erika Kruger’s 5th project—The Shadow as Repetition. The reason why I chose these pictures is that the shadow can “repeat” the shape of objects on the surface of original element. For instant, just like the 2nd picture I post, the shadow of wall reflects on the surface of stair, as a result, the new “shadow stair” was produced on the stair. What a great idea! I will try my best to use some similar methods to achieve this effect in my sketch up model. But, due to my shape of mole, it is different to achieve “repletion” on the surface of my model. The more practical approach is that using the shadow of model on the ground face.
